‘In the Company of Cowgirls’ Art Show exists by popular demand! Hardworking,hard playing cowgirls in Art are the subjects of this unique Western art show happening Mothers Day Weekend during the Pendleton Cattle Barons Weekend. The Artists are all women who have special knowlege of their subjects.

25 Teams pit their grills, sauces, meat, wits and cowboy charm against each other to find out who truly is the greatest western BBQ team in the universe! Team slots fill up fast, so sign up quickly. Judges and samplers also are recruited. Yum!

Many fun family events! Can you pass the Ranch Mother Survival Test? It’s not just for women! Your time starts when you tie on your apron and move to the first station where you’ll diaper the ‘baby’, then you’ll beat some eggs and flip a flapjack, then you’ll milk the ‘cow’, do the laundry and hang it on the line, pound in a nail, saddle the ‘horse’. Time ends when you hang up your apron!
