Wounded Cowboy Obstacle Course — Cowboy Up! From time to time, a ranch hand got hurt but still had to carry his load while laid up. This is another chance to test your skills. Is it as easy as it looks?

Ranch Mother Survival Test — Come test your skills in the Ranch Mother Survival Test. It’s not just for women! Last year’s top time was John Kirwan, from Hermiston.
How does it work?
Your time starts when you tie on your apron and move to the first station where you’ll diaper the ‘baby’, then you’ll beat some eggs and flip a flapjack, then you’ll milk the ‘cow’, do the laundry and hang it on the line, pound in a nail, saddle the ‘horse’. Time ends when you hang up your apron.
You can do it just for fun – it’s free! Or . . . You can enter the competition by paying $1 per try. If you beat the best competition time, you win your dollar back, plus another dollar. Double or Nothin’!

Make a Thaumatropes and Cowgirl Cookies — Pioneer children made a toy/picture game that works like an optical illusion blending two pictures into one, called a thaumatrope. Come and make your own thaumatrope! When you’ve finished, be sure to buy some Cowgirl (Girl Scout) Cookies!
Under the Western Night Sky – Join us for a night sky version of the stars! A planetarium is a theatre of the Universe. We will surround you with an accurate image of the sparkling night sky. Our Planetarium will interpret the Universe in a way that appeals to both the mind and eye. The Planetarium will introduce your children to a life-long acquaintance with the sky and the Universe.
